Brand video for DAT Freight & Analytics

As Associate Creative Director of the in-house marketing team DAT, I wrote the script for this brand video. I was involved in all decisions in the creative process, from story and music to editing and distribution.

Artist Profile / Feature Story: Megadeth

When arranging the interviews for this story, the members of the band Megadeth already had reputations for being combative interviewees. Frontman Dave Mustaine had become something of a lighting rod with some of his past comments, and he didn't disappoint.

Every year, companies across the globe hold bid events with trucking companies to create new shipping contracts. DAT launched a campaign addressing the pain points in the process. This expanded infographic was a top-of-funnel piece of content that kicked off the campaign.

When I was the editor of the entertainment section of the Anchorage Daily News (called "Play Magazine"), I went on the search for the spiciest food served in the city's restaurants. This is an account of what I uncovered.

Flatbed video for DAT Freight and Analytics

Flatbedders are a different breed of truck driver, and this video was a celebration of their grit. DAT had recently made product updates that made it easier to find flatbed loads, so this video drove awareness.

Case Study: 'Fast Freight'

This case study was written to support the adoption of a new product feature from DAT. This feature allowed freight brokers and motor carriers to tender freight at the touch of a button, saving hours of work on every shipment and streamlining their businesses.
